The Philadelphia Eagles have turned the franchise over to Kevin Kolb. Or did they just turn their back on Donovan McNabb? Well depends what side of the equation you view. McNabb is entering his final year of his contract at the age of 33. Kolb is a young quarterback still unproven with loads of potential. Yet the deal is now officially done. McNabb will play against Kolb twice this year. The Redskins made the bold move of trading for McNabb and bringing a franchise QB to Washington. Over the past few seasons we have seen the Eagles franchise faces such as Brian Dawkins, Brian Westbrook, and now Donovan McNabb all sent packing. Is there no loyalty in the Eagles franchise? The only players they are safe are players under the age of 30. Even if you can still preform, they are still willing to turn to younger players instead. What do you think about the Eagles trade of McNabb? What do you think the Kolb era will look like? Are they right on getting rid of players after their 30th birthdays? Let me know your thoughts….
