NFL Fantasy Week 10 Waiver Wire Adds
The NFL’s bye week era is still going on with multiple teams on a bye. We have also seen fantasy football managers bitten by injuries to major players. It’s time to give my picks for fantasy waiver wire adds for Week 10 for fantasy football.
WR Elijah Moore, New York Jets (47% Rostered in Yahoo!)

The rookie wide receiver had his breakout game on Thursday Night football. Elijah Moore scored 27 Fantasy points against the Colts. Moore turned out to be the top WR performer in Week 9. He caught seven of eight targets for 84 yards and two TDs. Moore has benefited from not only being healthy but QB Matt White looking for him. Moore is the Jets’ most dynamic weapon on the New York offense. The Jets have decided to keep WR Jamison Crowder at the deadline, but you can get good production from Moore for the rest of the season.
QB Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons (63% Rostered in Yahoo!)

It’s time to start giving Matty Ice and the Falcons a little love here. In Matt Ryan’s last 7 games, he has averaged over 19 fantasy points per game. Now that’s might not be the big numbers you expect from the QB position, in a pinch that might help your squad during a bye week. Ryan has figured out how to get the ball to his playmakers like TE Kyle Pitts, Cordarrelle Patterson and Russell Gage. The rub is he is without star WR Calvin Ridley but he has weathered the storm. I like his matchup this week because the Cowboys are allowing the 7th most points per game to QBs. If Teddy Bridgewater's performance in Week 9 is any indication, Ryan can get some points for you.
RB Eno Benjamin, Arizona Cardinals vs. Panthers (14% Rostered in Yahoo!)

Chase Edmonds is nursing a high ankle sprain that will sideline him for at least a month. Benjamin will get the chance to split time with James Conner. Conner is a capable back, but his injury history would make the Cardinals hesitant to increase his carries. Last week, Benjamin tallied 39 yards and a touchdown. This is a play in 12+ manager leagues if you are digging deep, he is a good flex option.
WR Donovan Peoples-Jones, Cleveland Browns (27% Rostered in Yahoo!)

The Browns have released Odell Beckham Jr so now the opportunity is for the taking for Peoples-Jones. Peoples-Jones is a perfect deep threat to pair with possession WR Jarvis Landry. Peoples-Jones is a perfect big play strike to complement their dominant running game. He has already had some nice games this season and against the Bengals he had another solid performance.. He caught a 60-yard TD bomb on one of Baker Mayfield’s 2 TDs. More big plays will be on tap, he’s a WR3 or flex option for the rest of the season.
RB Jordan Howard, Philadelphia Eagles (45% Rostered in Yahoo!)

Until two weeks ago, Jordan Howard was a forgotten man. This is a RB that was a 1,000-yard rusher with the Chicago Bears and was a solid RB2 in fantasy. Howard had returned to Philadelphia as a practice squad player just to get a spot. But in Week 9, Howard was the Eagles' leading rusher with 71 yards and a TD on 17 carries. The injuries at RB and the Eagles sudden change of philosophy as a running team (finally) makes Howard a solid RB3 option in 10-12 team leagues.
TE Pat Freiermuth, Pittsburgh Steelers (57% Rostered in Yahoo!)

Eric Ebron is currently out with a hamstring injury, and Freiermuth has come to life the last 2 weeks. While the rookie only has 9 catches over that period, 3 of those catches were for touchdowns. The Steelers have finally found their TE and even if Ebron comes back soon, you need to roster Freiermuth if you need tight end help. Freiermuth is a great red zone target for Big Ben and should see some extra targets against the Lions this week.
