Well, it was the Dallas Cowboys walking away with the 41-21 victory over the NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3.

This game was inability of the Eagles defense to do anything against Dak Prescott and the Cowboys running game, with both Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard again having their way with the Eagles defense. Let’s go with why the Cowboys won.

The Cowboys were the better team, beginning to end, offense, defense, special teams and coaching( even though McCarthy still has no idea how to use a clock properly)

Now why the Eagles lost:

  • They lost the line of scrimmage battle.

  • Miles Sanders had 2 carries and 5 total touches.

  • Jalen Hurts.

I don’t know why he is getting a pass this season. It is his 2nd season, he is not a rookie anymore, I am tired of the excuses that we give players, last season we had the Wentz apologists (yes I was one of them) and now this season.

I don’t get it. Hurts has 7 starts and I am not impressed with him, he is 2-5 and is nothing to smile about yet. I hope I am wrong, but right now it is looking I am right, if I am wrong about him, I will be doing a live podcast in a tutu.

But the bigger picture is the coaching. Nick Sirianni once again was outcoached, I know he is a rookie head coach, but he has veterans on this team that should make a difference. But now we move on to the 1-2 Chiefs with Patrick Mahomes & Andy Reid coming to town, this will be a test as the Chiefs are a real team and Dallas is Dallas. Also, one more thing...

I have never seen a franchise (The Dallas Cowboys) & a fanbase in their feelings so much about a t-shirt. But they won so, they get the last laugh. Probably won’t hear from Dallas Cowboys fans for a couple weeks as their beloved Yankees are in a Wild Card race with the Red Sox and the NBA season starts up and the Lakers will be a top priority for them.
